We had such a fun time in Philly, NYC and DC. We decided to stop by DC on our way back and see some last minute sights. Then we drove all night till we got home. You were an amazing traveler and quite the trouper.
We decided to go to the Please Touch Me Museum with Cousin Tiffany, Jack and V (Frank Sloan V….yep the 5th!!! Just like you!). That is after you woke up, chilled out, played some iPad and put your mammoth in the snow that was heavily falling outside!
I can’t really describe to you how much fun you had today. The museum was not busy so you guys pretty much had the place to yourselves. There was so much to do!!!
This was Daddy’s favorite part. He even took a picture so that he might recreate it.
You even went in the Alice in Wonderland part, had some tea, ran through the maze, painted the roses red (don’t tell the queen!) and got big.
You followed your big cousins everywhere. Next we went and you played driving the ambulance and doctor…yikes! You loved the supermarket, especially getting your favorite food which was apparently fish!
We ended with the Rocket room and making some crafts. The rockets were quite the hit. We had so much fun playing with our cousins. We were so glad that it was a snow day so that we were able to.
You were exhausted but so excited to tell Mr. Damon about your day over some fabulous BBQ with your Mammoth of course!
We started the day with some sick boy snuggles. You were in good spirits but definitely sick.
We ended up in Washington DC, one of my most favorite places. After checking into the hotel, we took a very cold walk to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
You enjoyed the hands on stuff and seeing all of the airplanes….so much so that you fell fast asleep.
We finished the night with a dinner at the hotel and a chill night in the hotel room. You got really sick and developed a 103 temp. Tylenol did the trick but we were still really worried about you.
