We went and had sushi tonight with Aunt Ju. Boy can you eat some sushi! You basically ate most of what we were taking home to Dada!
We were museumed out! I guess what I mean that Daddy and I were over it, pretty sure you could have kept going. We decided to take it easy today and relax on this vacation. Imagine that! We went shopping and then later that night Miss Kristie was able to come home. You guys became instant buddies! Oh and did I mention that you got your first pair of Docs!!!! SO CUTE!!!!
New York here we come! We took a train into NYC to go to the American Natural History Museum.
They definitely had the most impressive collection of dinosaur and prehistoric animals that we have seen this whole trip. What a perfect museum to make our last.
We took a really really cold walk through Central Park to go to a pizza place to meet Cousin Amy, Bobby, Tallulah, and Trip. You were not a fan of the cold!
You were, however, a big fan of Trip. You guys had a head shaking contest, a roaring contest, he wowed you with his really cool superhero tats and you thought he was hilarious!
You guys were virtually impossible to take a picture of but a few were captured. We took a cab back to the Train Station. During the ride you exclaimed, “This is what the holidays are all about!”. I’m not sure where you picked that up at, but it was pretty darn cute!
It was a late night, we didn’t get home until after midnight! But you were a great traveler. What a great day!!!!
We got to meet up with Aunt Ginger and cousin Samantha today for the Franklin Institute and the Dinosaur exhibit at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. You started the day taking your first train/subway ride. You got to do all kids of cool stuff at the Franklin Institute like walk through the human heart, listen to all kinds of animal heartbeats, make some rovers with daddy and be a crazy weather man.
We went to the Academy of Natural Sciences next and they had a really awesome dinosaur exhibit. The T-Rex outside moved and roared!!!! There were a bunch more inside. We also got to watch some volunteer paleontologists working on some dinosaur bones. You also got to be a paleontologist yourself!
You of course got some new dinosaurs and we did some shopping while you napped. We rode the subway home…you loved that and discussed our day with Mr. Damon. At dinner at Johnny Brenda’s you got to sit in the window sill.
